Black Beauty Zucchini Squash: ( 50 Days ) Heirloom This ultra-dark skin summer squash has fruit that are long, straight & slender and is best picked at about 6 to 8 inches long. Squash is delicious when sliced and served fresh, fried, steamed or simmered. The larger fruits are good for grating and for use in baking to make zucchini bread or cake. Excellent variety for freezing. Was introduced to U.S. markets in the 1920s and was a 1957 All America Selections.
