Bloomsdale Spinach : ( 45 Days ) Heirloom Bloomsdale is a dependable, old, open pollinated variety. This spinach has large crinkled dark green glossy leaves. A quick-growing variety, with heavy yields. Slow to bolt, excellent fresh in salads, added to soup, stir-fried or as a topping on pizza. Was first introduced into the culinary world by a fellow named David Ladreth in 1826.
