IMPORTANT This thermometer is intended to be used within a temperature range of 50° - 120°F (10° - 50°C). If the thermometer is exposed to cooler temperatures it may create a split in the red fluid column. If this occurs, place the thermometer inside a sealed plastic bag and hold the bulb end under hot water until the red fluid columns combine into a single solid line, up to a maximum of 125°F. Do not expose to open flame.
