Gretel Eggplant

Ivory fruit that is best picked at 3-4" long by 3/4-1" diameter but can grow 10" long. Young ‘Gretel’ eggplants have very few seeds. Gretel is non-bitter and perfect for grilling or slicing thin onto pizza. The plant size is small, no taller than three feet, which is perfect for container growing. ‘Gretel’ will thrive on a patio or deck in a large container. Small eggplants can be harvested only 55 days after planting into containers. An All America Selection in 2009.
