Description
Ladino Clover Seeds :
Ladino clover is a rapidly-growing perennial legume that has a white bloom. Ladino was developed in the 18th century in Italy and then was introduced into the United States in 1894. This clover is very winter hardy and prefers well drained silt loam and clay soils with a pH of 6-7. Ladino has a high nitrogen and mineral content. Ladino is good for soil building alone or in a legume mix. This nutritious legume is credited with improved antler development of deer as well as providing a good pollinator plant for bees. Plant grows 12 to 24 inch tall. Ladino is a ideal clover for livestock pastures or to attract wildlife to food plots. This clover can make up to 250 pounds of nitrogen per acre per year. Ladino clover is a great choice for deer plots, as this forage will last 4 to 5 years and usually requires little or on attention. Ladino is also great for most other wildlife.
