Reid's Yellow Dent Corn: (90 Days ) Heirloom This large yellow kernel corn has ears 9 in. long with 14 to 16 rows of kernels. Stalks grow to about 7 feet. Kernels are close-set, moderately flat seeded. Originated in the 1840's as a cross between 'Gordon Hopkins', a late, light red variety, and an early yellow flint variety. Is one of the most productive, hardy corns ever developed. This variety was a prize winner at the 1893 World’s Fair.
