Buff Plymouth Rocks are a relatively rare variet, with solid rich golden-buff plumage. The male has a more brilliant luster than the female. Chicks are a soft buff color right from the start. Most Buff Rocks are used for the production of eggs but they are also useful for production of fowl meat. They are fine winter layers of brown eggs; also good setters in late spring.
